Cricklewood is so distinct that I would just go with that. It doesn’t have to modify anything. It also feels very “naturalist” more than adding Gazette, etc., which take me to general news in more of a journalistic vein.
Also, I don’t want to give careless advice and think it’s most important how you feel about the name. Some bigwig here on Substack gave me tossed-off advice, and it didn’t sit well; wouldn’t want to do that to you:
Thank you for the feedback. Cricklewood as a stand-alone is now the fourth option. I like the idea of a single term, the simplicity of it. You all have been so helpful!

Oooo, this is a good point. Thank you!
Sure thing! I might also be wrong. I love the word and that I’ve never heard it before, though. Carries a bit of intrigue.

This is giving me much to think about, so it's appreciated!
I love Cricklewood on its own! But out of the three choices you mentioned, I like ‘journal’ most of all.

Susannah, I'm glad you've found this helpful. I have named hundreds of games in my career, and I think Cricklewood is a winner. I wish you the best!
Thank you so much, Lisa!
