Hi, friends!

The color green is so prevalent with some version always present in nature. So even if you use a pre-mixed green, knowing how to build and manipulate any shade is information that you can use to customize a commercially made paint.

I want to share with you some of my green recipes for watercolor. Below I have swatches as well as some “exercises” for you to use as a guide as you explore this color (or any color). Take it as inspiration. If you have the same colors as I do, terrific. It’s also fantastic if you don’t. Use what you have to come up with recipes that work for you.
